Generating and pinning a token’s cover image used to be the slowest step in the whole flow — often the only point where you’d sit and wait with nothing to look at. That step is faster now, for every launch, not just some of them.

Where the time was going

Most of the wait wasn’t the image model itself — it was the round trip of generating the image, downloading it, and re-uploading it to permanent storage before the metadata could be pinned. Overlapping those steps instead of running them strictly one after another cut the typical wait noticeably.

What you’ll notice

Hitting “Generate art” now typically resolves in a few seconds rather than feeling like a long pause. If it ever takes meaningfully longer, that usually means the image or pinning provider is having a slow moment on their end, not that something’s stuck.
